We are the FIRST LEGO League (FLL) team of Johnstown Christian School. FLL encourages students to be interested in technological sciences through hands on creation of robots using LEGO Mindstorms sets and then programming them on computers. This team is focused on mentoring and developing our next generation of creative technologists, scientists, and engineers. Some of our goals as a team are instilling skills such as teamwork, communication, critical thinking, problem solving and professionalism. Our team consists of students in grades 6-8 from Somerset, Cambria, and Indiana Counties. Some proven results of this program are:
